ACTION NEEDED

Per Act 936, the ArAA submitted to the Arkansas Insurance Department, as required, a list by provider and locality of the rates adopted by the approving entity on July 1. 

The Insurance Department has requested contracts that support the rate information submitted via the survey sent out to providers. 

Next steps for providers with adopted rates:   

  • Email donna@bridgepartnersllc.net & claire@bridgepartnersllc.net documentation that supports the rate information you submitted via the service rate survey by COB Friday, July 11th. 
    • Documentation may include a copy of an adopted ordinance with the adoption date clearly marked, an executed contract with a municipality, or some other formal document that provides this support. 
    • If you serve multiple areas and submitted rate information for each of these areas, please provide documentation for each area. 

The supporting documents will be submitted to the Insurance Department on Monday, July 14th. 

2025 SERVICE OF THE YEAR AWARDS

The Arkansas Ambulance Association is accepting nominations for ALS and BLS Service of the Year honorees. The awards will be presented during the 2025 EMS Conference held by the AEMTA in Hot Springs, AR on August 1, 2025.

2025 - 2026 ArAA EMS DEVELOPMENT GRANT PROGRAM

The ArAA EMS Development Grant Application period for the 2025-2026 cycle is now live.

Please note: A single grant application may be submitted for multiple licenses.

Application & Processing Timeline:

  • July 1, 2025 - August 15, 2025: ArAA EMS Development Grant Application Period
  • August 16, 2025 - September 30, 2025: Grant Application Review Period
  • By September 30, 2025: Applicants will be notified of application approval or denial
  • October 1, 2025 - May 31, 2026: Grantees may expend funds in accordance with the grant policy (Review policy here)

See Act 7 for further details. A percentage of the Arkansas Citizens First Responder Safety Enhancement Fund is appropriated for the ArAA. Personal services, operating expenses and other expenses are eligible. Review the grant guidelines, policy, and general terms and conditions on the EMS Grant page
